Albert "Brock'' Atkinson

Mr. Albert (Brock) Atkinson, Jr. was born to late Lidde
W. Atkinson and Albert Atkinson in Princeton, NC on
December 28,1938. He departed his earthly home on
December 25, 2021 at Washington Hospital Center in
Washington, DC. He was preceded in death by his brothers
Reginald F. Atkinson, Karlton Atkinson, Curtis Atkinson,
Sr., and nephew Eric F. Atkinson.
Albert (Brock) attended Princeton Graded School and
Richard B Harrison. Shortly after graduating from High
School, he moved to Washington, DC.
Albert was married to Ruth Wall and to this union was born
two sons, Michael Atkinson and Tyrone Atkinson, and two
daughters, Yolanda Atkinson and Francine Atkinson.
Albert leaves to cherish his memories his children - Michael
Atkinson of Japan; Tyrone Atkinson (Darlene) of Clayton,
NC; Yolanda Atkinson of Maryland; and Francine Atkinson
of Ohio. Three sisters - Yvonne Pressley and Shirley
Atkinson of Princeton, NC and Regina Foye (Rudy) of
Selma, NC. Two brothers - Molton Ray Atkinson (Delores)
of Upper Marlboro, MD and Larry Donnell (Bonnie) of
Capital Heights, MD. The family also includes grandchildren
and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.
