Alice Faye Perez-Monroy (Jones) passed away in Smithfield on Thursday, May 5. Born in Johnston County on July 29, 1957, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Jones and Shirley Jones.
She loved all her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She really enjoyed sitting outside and having talks about good times. She resided at Barbour Court Nursing Facility for the past two years and enjoyed getting into 'trouble' with her friends.
Alice is survived by her daughter, Crystal Netter (Danh Netter) of Clayton; son, William Jones of Smithfield; sister, Brenda 'Katie' Jasinski (Terry Jasinski) of Clayton; grandchildren, Nicholas Netter, Noah Netter, Elijah Netter, Janice (Jay) Wheeler and Cadence Jones; niece and nephew, Emily Tabares (Juan Tabares) of Grover and Richard Best (Jennifer Best) of Smithfield.
A private memorial service will be held.
