Mrs. Alma Whitfield of 405 Pine Street Smithfield NC, died in her home on June 5th 2010.
She was the daughter of the late Elroy Barnes and Rosa Marsh Barnes.
She leaves to cherish her memories; two daughters, Josie Whitfield 9 Charles) of the home and Dorcas Perry (Jesse) of Smithfield NC, one son, David Whitfield of Smithfield NC, one brother, Millard Barnes (Essie) of Smithfield NC, one sister, Ruth Boomer of New Jersey, eleven grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren 64 great-great grandchildren, one daughter-in-law, Linda Whitfield of Selma NC, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Friday June 11, 2010 at 11:00AM at the Johnston Central Alumni Center in Smithfield NC.
