Andrew S. Lane (A.K.A. Ice), a 63 year old resident of Selma, N.C. entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 3, 2022. Andrew was born April 2, 1958 to the late Lauresa C. Lane and Chester R. Lane in Newburgh, N.Y. After an Honorable Discharge from the United States Army he continued his career driving trucks across the country for many years. Left behind to cherish his memories are his son Andrew S. Lane, Jr. (Newburg, N.Y.); daughters Ashley Lane (Newburgh, N.Y.); Lauren Green-Lane of the home (Albany, N.Y.); his sister Angela Lane (Newburgh, N.Y.); brothers Chester R. Lane, Jr. (Kentucky), Darryl Lane & wife Diane (Indiana), Stanley Holden (Newburgh, N.Y.), Frankie Lane (Newburgh, N.Y.); three step-brothers Charlies Arline, Craig Line and Andre Lane, step-sister Helen Beamon; six grandchildren Syncere, Prynce, Cam'Ryn Chance Tores (Newburgh, N.Y.), Kamari Lane (Newburgh, N.Y.), Harmony Lane (Newburgh, N.Y.) Andrew Lane is predeceased by his mother and father Lauresa C. Lane and Chester R. Lane. His sister Bonnie Sampson (Newburgh, N.Y.) Andrew leaves behind a great host of nieces and nephews who he held near and dear to his heart, but two Kapriesha Lane and Keymautii Best, both of Albany, N.Y. A great amount of godchildren (including Chemeire Morales), step-kids, friends, and many more that will miss him.
