Angela Lorie Brooks Speight

Mrs. Angela Brooks Speight of Smithfield, North Carolina was born August 28, 1966, in Selma, North Carolina to Mrs. Doris (Robinson) Brooks and the late Mr. Linwood Carroll Brooks. Angie, as she was affectionately known by family and friends, passed away August 3, 2023.

Angie sought each day to honor God with her words and deeds. She was incredibly devoted to her family and friends and always sought to encourage someone withlaughter and love as she absolutely never met a stranger. Angie’s last days were spent doing what many remember her for, caring for others and spending time with her family and friends. Angie was a pillar of strength for her family and friends. The many roles she filled can never be replaced.

The family will receive visitors at the home on  Saturday, August 5th, 2023, and Sunday, August 6th, 2023, from 1pm to 6pm. The family respectfully request not to receive visitors Monday.

Service - Shiloh Christian Church, 211 Durham St, Smithfield, NC 27577, August 8, 2023, at noon.
