Annie Williams

Annie R. Williams, age 85, of Mason died Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at the Vitas Hospice at the Drake Center in Cincinnati. She was born October 15, 1926 in Philadelphia the daughter of Herekiah and Florence Burch Reaves. She graduated from high school in Philadelphia and attended cosmetology school. Her husband, David Williams, preceded her in death January 12, 2001. Annie loved children and was a day care provider at her church and she was known for her hats. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Angela and Rodney Long, grandchildren, Krista A. Williams, Donovan M., Jasmine, Braeden and Kamryn Long, sisters, Rev. Beatrice Penny and Carolyn Williams and a host of nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her son, David M Williams in 1992, sisters, Marguerite Oats, Rosa Lee Watson and brother Hezekiah Reaves Jr. Local services will be 7:00 PM Friday, October 5, 2012 at Christ's Church of Mason with visiation from 6:00 PM until the time of service. Mrs. Williams will then have funeral services at the Mitchener Memorial Baptist Church in Smithfield, N.C. on Monday, October 8th surrounded by her sisters and family.
