Bennie Vernon Smith, Jr. was born on May 21, 1960 in Johnston County. He was born to the late Bennie V. Smith, Sr. and Lillie Beatrice Smith of the home in Clayton, NC. Bennie graduated from Clayton High School, Class of 1979
Bennie Leaves to mourn(sister) Renee Marcella Smith Goldsboro, NC. (Brother) Rodney (Lavonia) Smith, Winston- Salem, NC. (Sister) Rhonda Kay Smith of the home. Two Foster Brothers, Alton Bowman and Johnnie (Annette) Bowman of Rocky mount, NC. (Aunt) Bettie English, Raleigh, NC. (Uncle) Daylon (Minnieree) of Raleigh, NC and a very special adopted sister, Audrey Foxx.
A host of Nieces, Nephews and great Nieces and Nephew.
Bennie had a very warm place in his heart for his Pastor, John (First Lady) Wanette Highsmith.
