Mrs. Bernice E. Penny of 512 Pine St. Smithfield,NC. Died on Tuesday January 6th ,2009 at her residence. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Frank Emory and the late Evia Lena Trotter Emory. She was born December 6,1931.She is survived by two children Edward Earl Penny Jr. of Raleigh NC and Vanessa Lena Penny Satterfield of Clayton NC. Three grandchildren, Danielle L. Dublin of Raleigh,NC;Jamila Satterfield of Durham, NC;and Victoria Satterfield of Clayton,NC one great-granddaughter,Jaliya Peavy of Durham,NC; two brothers,Robert P. Emory of Clayton and Frank E. Emory,Sr. of Wilson,NC. Many Nephews,Nieces,relatives and friends. Funeral was held Saturday, January 10,2009 at 1:30pm at New Trinity Missionary Baptist Church Clayton,NC, Burial followed at Forest Hills Cemetery, Clayton,NC
