Charles attended Richard B. Harrison School. He had various jobs throughout his life. He enjoyed being with his family and friends.
Charles leaves to cherish his memories: his two children, Jerry Earl Hinton of Goldsboro, NC, and Stephanie A. Rhue of Selma, NC. He also leaves one brother, Billy Ray Hinton (Estelle Hinton) of Middlesex, NC; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
