Danny Lawrence Norris

Danny L. Norris, 65, passed away on February 22, 2018 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield, North Carolina.
Born in Smithfield, North Carolina, he was the son of Buddy and Alice Pearl Norris . He attended Smithfield-Selma High School. He worked for Jones Brothers Furniture, Florida Rock, Jones and Frank, and Southern Pump and Tank.
He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Jones of Clayton, NC and her husband Josh; a son, Matthew Norris of Muscle Shoals, AL; grandchildren Zain Austin Jones and Zoey Aleene Jones; niece Kelli Jones of Clayton, NC and her husband and children David, Molly, and Mason; and his best friend, Terry Bryant.
He is preceded in death by his parents Buddy and Alice Norris and his brother R.L. Norris.
Danny never met a stranger and was a kind and generous man. He gave the best hugs.
