Danny Davis Smith, born January 10, 1955 to the late Alice Grace Smith, died Saturday, May 30, 2009 at City Oaks Health and Rehab Facility in Raleigh, NC.
Dan was a very loving, giving, trustworthy, walways willing to assist with the care and up-bringing of his nieces and nephews. A very devoted brother to his brothers and sisters and a loving friend to many.
Left to cherish his memories are five brothers and two sisters. Thomas Smith (Pamela) Landover, MD; Aterus Lassister (Jimmy) Fayetteville, NC; Lois McLane (Anthony) Laurel, MD; Dennis Smith, Baltimore, MD; Carnell Smith (Linda) Upper Marlboro, MD; Anthony Smith (Yolanda) Hope Mills, NC; Christopher Smith (Theresa) Selma, NC. One aunt, Grace Green and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and special friends (Edward Sanders, Shelia Rawlings, The Sorrell and Lee Families).
Dan was preceded bu the death of his Mother, Alice Grace Smith and Brother, Jerome Langston Smith.
Services were held for Dan on Saturday, June 6, 2009 at 1:00 pm at Foundation of Christ Holiness Church in Smithfield, NC.
