Derrick Lester Williams was born on August 18, 1973 to the union of Arlester and Vickie Williams additionally during that birth, his twin brother Eric soon joined him thereafter. Unfortunately Derrick departed this life on July 19,2015.
Derrick attended and graduated from Smithfield-Selma Senior High School. After graduating from High school Derrick decided to join the US Army. Derrick later returned home to focus on pursuing a degree in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology in Decatur Ga.
Derrick was well known amongst his friends as "DNice" as he called himself. To name all of Derricks friends, would literally be impossible but know you all are well acknowledged. Derrick took pride in his grilling skills and wouldn't hesitate letting you know it. Being a big brother to some and father figure to others, Derrick was always willing to be there in any way that he could.
Derrick leaves to cherish his memories: his father Arlester Williams of Four Oaks, NC; his mother Vickie Williams of Selma, NC; his wife Anita Dixon Williams of Wilson Mills; 2 sons, Khalil Williams of Clayton NC and Cameron Williams of Wilson Mills; one step son Shawn Dixon of Wilson Mills; one sister Alisea Williams of Selma, NC; three brothers Aubrey Williams and Wayne Williams of Selma, NC and Eric Williams of Charlotte, NC; one sister-in-law Felecia Williams of Selma, NC. A host of nieces, nephews and friends.
