Devin Yarnell Stowes

Minister Devin Yarnell Stowes was born on September 11, 1989 to Ms. Twilla Sanders and Mr. Andy Stowes, but reared by Ms. Doris Lacey. He went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2014 while at UNC Hospital, Chapel Hill, N.C.

Devin was a 2009 graduate of Smithfield Selma Senior High School, Smithfield, N.C. After high school, he completed courses at Virginia College and Wake Technical Community College. Shortly after, he pursued a career as a flight attendant for American and Go Jet Airlines.

He received his Spiritual training and teaching at the Church of God of Prophecy in Selma, N.C. and became an ordained Minister in 2010 under the leadership of Pastor Braxton D. Bowser, Sr. of Agape Christian Center, Knightdale, N.C. Devin worked and served in the NOW Generation Alliance from 2009 to 2014. During his tenure as a member of the co-ed Christian based organization he served on the National Leadership Team and General Secretary for four years. His Ministry carried him to various churches throughout the country. After relocating to Dallas, TX he became a member of Full Gospel Holy Temple under the leadership of Bishop Herman Lobias Murray, Jr. Devin loved the Lord and was faithful to the call. His favorite quote was "Look at God – My God".

Devin leaves many loving and precious memories with his mothers Ms. Twilla Sanders and Ms. Doris Lacey of Raleigh, N.C., two brothers Anthony Stowes of Raleigh, N.C. and Trevinno Stowes of Selma, N.C., a Godsister, and a host of aunts, uncles, sisters, cousins, and friends.
