Easter Eatmon Barnes

Easter Eatmon Barnes, formerly of Micro, North Carolina, entered eternal rest on Saturday, March 08, 2014 in Greenbelt, Maryland. Easter was born on March 29, 1930 in Johnston County to the Late Sherman and Roxie Whitfield Eatmon.
She was married to the Late Andrew Barnes and to this union three sons were born. She leaves to cherish her memory, her sons, Gerald, and his daughters Andrea and Katerina of Greenbelt Maryland; Aubrey of New York; and Sheridan and his wife Valerie and their son Zaylan Andrew of Micro.
She is survived by a brother, Sherman Eatmon of New Haven, Connecticut; A sister; Edith Eatmon Everett and her husband John of Goldsboro. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also mourn her passing.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, March 29, 2014 at White Rock AME Church in Micro, NC. Reverend Robert J. Bland will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to White Rock AME Church where she was a member or to a charity of ones choice.
