Mr. Edward Walden Sr., 72, of Smithfield, North Carolina, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2013 at his home in Smithfield, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2013 at 1 pm at St. Peters Church in Smithfield, North Carolina. The visitation will be held one hour prior to funeral services. Interment will follow at Selma Memorial Garden in Selma, NC. Family will be receiving friends at the home; 415 N. Third Street, Smithfield, NC.
