Frank Aaron "Shine" Blackshell

Frank (Shine) Aaron Jr. was granted his angel wings on June 19, 2021 at Wake Memorial Hospital, in Raleigh North Carolina.
Frank was born November 19, to the late Mae Berry Blackshell and Frank Aaron in Smithfield, North Carolina.
He attended Smithfield-Salma High School, where he was a graduate in the class of 1980. Frank went on to continue his education at Elizabeth City State University, where he became a member of the Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, an accomplishment he was very proud of.
He enjoyed numerous sports, his favorites being basketball and baseball where he excelled in both. Frank was a jovial person and enjoyed conversing and hanging out with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mae Berry Blackshell, his father, Frank Aaron, four brothers, Robert Berry, Freddy Roy Bird, James (Tiny) Blackshell, Joseph (Chubby) Blackshell and 1 niece, Ernestine Barrett.
Frank leaves to cherish his memories, one nephew, Montrell Blackshell, one sister- in- law, Diane Blackshell, one great nephew, Tyrone Barrett, four great nieces, Clematine Barrett, Julia Barrett, Regina Primm, Sharon Barrett and a host of other relatives and friends.
