Gary Wayne Alston

Gary Wayne Alston was born on November 29, 1962 to the late
Thomas and Ella Mae Alston in Halifax County, NC. He departed this
life on November 16, 2018 at his home. He is preceded in death by his
mother, Ella Mae Alston and his two brothers, Charles and David Alston.
Gary was a quiet and gentle soul who enjoyed wrestling and family. He
loved music and liked to dance. He was most happy when he was with
family, especially his "Aunt Brenda." He loved them all, but she was his
favorite because they would drink Mountain Dews and eat Lil Debbie
Cakes together.
Gary was an employee of JCI for 34 years and would have been
celebrating his 35th year next month. Gary loved his JCI family and he
never met a stranger and always had a smile on his face.
He leaves his sweet memories to: his aunts, Rebecca (James)
Lassiter, Maybelle (Rayford) Hines, Shirley (Arlander) Holden and
Brenda Davis; his two uncles, Thomas and Linwood McCray and a host
of cousins and other relatives and special friends from Classic Care
Assisted Living.
