Mr. George D. Seaman, husband, Dad, Papa, Pops, Grandpop went to Heaven on August 25, 2024 from the State Employees Credit Union Hospice House.
The son of a coal miner he was employed by the United States Postal Service for over 30 years in Binghamton, New York where he raised his family. Upon his retirement he moved South where he worked for the Goldsboro Target part-time.
Mr. Seaman was a Godly gentleman who loved the Lord Jesus and his family of whom he was immensely proud. Left behind for a season are his beloved wife of over 60 years, Sandee; his son, Scott and daughter-in-law, Maria, grandsons, John and Matt; his son, Eric and daughter-in-law, Carrie, and granddaughter, Isabelle and husband, Brandon and grandson, Jakob; his son, Craig and daughter-in-law, Fran, and grandchildren, Daniel and Afton; and a son in love, Cho and wife, Oanh Nguyen, and grandchildren in love, Angela, Diana Sue and Kenny. He is in addition survived by brother, Andy and sister-in-law, Pattie, and niece and nephew, Cindy and Andrew; and brother, David, and his nephews Darrell and Brian.
Thank you to everyone for your support and prayers over these difficult years when he battled with dementia. My gratitude is eternal and I am forever blessed by this continued outpouring of love, Sandee.
Mr. Seaman’s life will be celebrated Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the home of Eric and Carrie Seaman located at 133 Moonlight Drive, Clayton, North Carolina from 1 to 3 P.M,
