Henry Lorenzo Clark was born February 12, 1945. He was called many names: "Daddy", "Grandpa", or the "High Sheriff." We simply called him Lorenzo. He was educated at Short Journey until the 7th grade, when he had to leave school to help out at home due to the loss of his father. But that did not stop him; he went on to drive trucks for Stay Bright Tank Company in Raleigh, N.C. He ended his career and retired from Precast in Dunn, N.C. in 2014. On March 19, 2022, Henry Lorenzo Clark left behind everyone he loved to go home and be with the Lord. He is proceeded in death by his wife, Eva Mae Smith Clark of fifty years, his daughters Lorraine & Sandra and son Ronnie, nine brothers, four sisters, and his late mother and father: Elnora and Sam Clark. Lorenzo leaves to cherish his memories: Joyce Marie Clark Jones Walters, Connie Mae Clark Stanley, his grandson Ronnie Lorenzo Clark, Larry Clark, Linwood Clark, a sister Peggy Clark Williams, two sisters-in-law Shirley Williams Robinson of Selma, NC; Carol Williams of Apex, NC; three brothers-in-law Jerry Smith, Ricky Richardson, John Williams, and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
