Herman “Smooth” Derrick Eason

Herman Derrick Eason, son of the late Herman Louis Eason and the late Agnes R. Eason-Sellars was born on July 6, 1954 in Smithfield, NC. He departed this life on Saturday, August 19, 2023 at his home.
He was a proud 1972 “Warrior” graduate of Wakefield High School in Arlington, VA.
Derrick was employed at various companies, such as, the U.S Treasury Department, Washington, DC, the Giant Food Store, and the Drug Fair Warehouse in Alexander, VA.
Growing up in Arlington, VA he loved basketball, loved to sing and was in karate class. His karate experience was a protection mechanism for him and his brother.
Derrick leaves to cherish his memory, Decarious Eason, brother; Lashayia Eason, niece; Decarious Eason, Jr., nephew; his first cousins, Mavis Graham (Sylvester), Lonnie Barfield, Frank Parker, Jr., Marvin Robinson, James Parker (Djuana), and a host of relatives and friends.
