Ivory Lee "Pete" Laster

Ivory Lee Laster was born February 23, 1957 to the Late Floyd and Ethel Laster. To this union he was the fifth child to 11 siblings. He was educated by McIver High School. In his younger years, he attended Saint Luke Baptist Church. He was a member & Minister at Praise Worship Tabernacle Ministries, under the leadership of Chief Apostle Barbara Conyers. He worked faithfully in every aspect of the ministry that he could. He loved God and loved to preach & teach the Word of God. In 1988 he Founded & Operated Pete's Concrete Finishers, that he continued until his health affected him. He loved his wife & family, loved taking them on trips and would do everything he could do to meet their needs. Pete as everyone knows him never met a stranger, he can talk to you for hours and hours about anything. He was well known and respected by every person that he has crossed paths with. Pete was loved by many and was a man who was known for keeping his word.

He was preceded in death by 3 Brothers Julius, Melvin, & Neminah
Those left to cherish his memories are his wife, Sandra Laster, daughters: Sharon (Keith) Foye of the home, Latish Knight of Raleigh NC, Tamika Knight of the home, Quaneisha (Larry) Farmer of Clayton NC, Bryona Laster of Greensboro NC, sons: Jermaine (Kesha) Laster of Wilmington, DE, Ronald & Donald of Baltimore, MD. 5 Brothers: Floyd (Pearl) Laster of Littleton NC, Larry (Raline) Laster of Bunn NC, Jasper (Danielle) Laster of Littleton NC, Edward Laster of Kenly NC, Lenard (Josephine) Laster of Littleton NC, Donald (Teresa) Laster of Selma NC, 1 Sister Teresa Laster of Littleton NC. 13 Grandchildren, and a Host of Nephews and Nieces.
