Jah-Unique Jackson

October 21, 1992 — March 3, 2014

Jah-Unique, 21, of Clayton, NC died at his home on Monday, March 03, 2014

Jah-Unique Jackson was born on Oct. 21, 1992 in Jersey City. NJ. He departed this life on March 3, 2014 in Clayton, NC.
Jah graduated Clayton High School in 2011 and attended Johnson Community College. He was employed as a cashier/cook for six years.
As a kid Jah was always very creative, and dramatic. He demonstrated an artistic flare at an early age. This artistic flare led to music production, and t-shirt development. Jah was a successful music producer such that his beats have been played on the radio in New York and New Jersey. On the road to his musical dreams Jah's journey suddenly ended here on earth. Now, he resides in heaven where dreams always come true.

Jah was a devoted, dedicated, and loving father to Julian Carter Jackson. You could often find Jah with his son Julian playing, watching movies, and listening to music. Julian has a rhythm in his step and a beat in his heart that he received from his father.

Jah had a love for family, music, and friends. Jah was loyal, humble and had a meek spirit. He lived a life full of joy and peace that helped him in being kind to others and forgiving easily. Jah is our Teddy Bear that we will truly miss.

Jah was preceded in death by his grandmother, Carolyn Pigford, and his grandfather David Bethea.

Jah-Unique Jackson leaves to mourn his passing: his parents Lee and Tonia Bethea of Clayton, NC; birth parents Tony Pigford and Monique Jackson of Jersey City, NJ; son Julian Jackson of Clayton, NC; brothers, Lee Cornell and Jermiah Bethea of Clayton, NC, Tony Blake of Atlantic City, NJ, and Supreme Jackson of Jersey City, NC; sisters Juanita Blake of Atlantic City, NJ and Taliyah Bethea of Clayton, NC; great grandmother, Eloise Pigford of Goldsboro, NC; grandmothers Yvonne Bethea and Mary Jackson of Jersey City, NJ; a host of beloved relatives and friends; his high school sweetheart for the past six years Telia Marie Majors (Julian's mother).
