Jerry Burroughs was born November 11, 1925 to the late Waitous Burroughs and the late Violia Pressley Burroughs in Kingstree, South Carolina. On Monday,December 22, 2014, he departed this life while a resident of Barbour Court Nursing Home in Smithfield, North
Carolina.
He joined in holy matrimony to the late Clydie
Coward in April 30, 1979.
Jerry worked for many years in the Agriculture Industry and had a knack for making this arduous work seem like play. Self-taught craftsmen with the ability make any repair necessary; to enable success in his chosen profession. Later in life found time to be a devoted husband and dedicated father who lived his life to the fullest.
