Joseph Franklin Wright

Joseph Franklin Wright Sr. better known as "Frank" born on December 19, 1946, to Mabel Beaman and Charlie Wright. Frank gained his heavenly wings on Friday, June 19, 2020, at 11:55 pm.
Frank was born in Sampson County, North Carolina. He attended public schools in North Carolina and at an early age, he relocated to Washington, D.C. where he worked as a Chef in different restaurants. The last job he worked as a chef was Lee's Restaurant in Hyattsville, MD where he was known by everyone.
Frank loved his family and worked two jobs to provide for them. He was a very caring and hardworking working man that always put his family first. There was no such word as "no" when it came to his son and grandkids. Frank was a party animal that loved to perform for his family and friends. He was our own Otis Redding and was never shy to perform live at family gatherings and karaoke night.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife Gloria Wright, son Joseph Wright, Jr., (Shauvon) two grandsons Jaylin and Jovon. Three sisters Yvonne, Vicki, and Paulette, one brother Charles. A host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-laws, brothers-in-laws, relatives, and friends.
Frank was proceeded in death by his parents, sister Eloise, brother Carlisle, and other nieces and nephews.
