Kenneth Charles Reid was born June 19th, 1961 in the Bronx, New York to parents Bernice Graves and Charles Reid. He spent his youth in Smithfield, North Carolina, and was raised lovingly by his aunt Mrs. L. Jones. Following his graduation from Smithfield High, he continued his education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He dedicated his life to the care of autistic individuals through his work at multiple organizations that were near and dear to his heart. In his spare time, he continued to share a lifelong love of music through DJ-ing as well as writing and producing his own original music. He entered heaven on April 14, 2020, where he was reunited with his parents, grandparents, and others. He is survived by: his sisters, Valerie, Ebony, Sharon, and Charlotte; as well as nieces, Stephanie, Ashley, La Shay, Lynnette, and Adira. Additionally, he is survived by a number of uncles, aunts, cousins, and a host of beloved friends worldwide. As we celebrate his life here on earth, we are comforted by the thought that he is surely DJ-ing for his new celebration of life in heaven.
