Ms. Lottie Johnson, 99, of New York, originally from Wilson's Mills, NC passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2011 at The University of Nassau Medical Center in New York.
She leaves to cherish her memory four of her six children Sherl Johnson/Carrie Johnson (Roosevelt-Long Island, New York), Doris Taylor/Charles Taylor (Brooklyn, New York), Robert Johnson (Selma, North Carolina), Herbert Johnson/Danita Johnson (Durham, North Carolina), one step-daughter, Patricia Kelly (Winston-Salem, North Carolina); and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. Two of her children, Annie Louise Myers-Williams and Bettye Jean Campbell preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Howell Chapel Church of Christ Disciples of Christ in Selma, NC. There will be a viewing from 10AM to 11Am and the funeral will begin at 11AM. Interment will follow at Selma Memorial Gardens in Selma NC.
