Louise Hobbs Sanders, the daughter of the late Julia Ann
Simmons and Willie Herbert Hobbs, was born June 29, 1933 in Clayton
NC. Louise Sanders was married to the late Lorenzo Sanders. Between
Mrs. Louise Sanders and Mr. Lorenzo Sanders were born 6 children.
God called his beloved daughter home on June 4, 2017. She was
preceded in death by her sisters Gertrude Simmons Brown, Hattie
Simmons, Mary Mickens, and Dossier Simmons Davis and her brothers,
Vance Hobbs, Floyd Simmons and Wilbert Simmons.
She was a loving woman, one who loved God with all her heart.
She was hardworking and dedicated to being family oriented, Louise
believed in togetherness. She had her own house cleaning service for
many years. She later became employed at KR Edwards Tobacco
Factory until her retirement. After retirement she continued her
motherly role, focusing on 2 of her grandchildren in which she was
already raising; Lasa Sanders-Williams and Lila Sanders. Her hobbies
were reading the bible and singing hymnals. She was indeed a worshiper
and a praiser. She was a faithful member of Burning Bush Holiness
Tabernacle for over 30 years where she served as an usher and a mother
of the church. She truly loved her church family.
She leaves to mourn 2 sisters Evelyn Hobbs George (Horace
George) of Smithfield NC, Gladys Torrance of Washington DC, 3
daughters, Priscilla Louise Sanders of Four Oaks NC, and Mary Morgan
and Elizabeth ,3 sons, Cedric Sanders (Mary Sanders) of Four Oaks,
Chester Sanders (Dwight Sanders) of Smithfield, and Richard Lorenzo
Sanders of Oceanside, California, 14 grandchildren, 19
`great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many
friends.
