Mack "Wee Mack" Sanders

Mack (Wee Mack) Sanders, was born in Smithfield, North Carolina, on June 8, 1948, to the late Mack Sanders Jr. and Estelle Rowland-Sanders. Mack was a Vietnam Veteran and did several tours of service. After returning to the states, Mack worked various jobs until he started working for Johnston Memorial Hospital, now known as Johnston Medical Center. He worked there over 30 years until he retired and was well known by his co-workers and visitors of the hospital. He was a special uncle to younger family members because of the stories he shared with them about his life. His family has learned a great deal from listening to his advice and direction.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 11:00 at Willow Springs Freewill Baptist Church located at 3623 Polenta Road Clayton, North Carolina 27520.
