Mamie Lee Hurst

Mamie Hurst was born on July 5, 1927 to the late Albert Cooper and Hattie Cooper Williams. On September 2, 2014 God in his infinite wisdom closed the eyes of our love one.
Mamie was united in Holy Matrimony to Robert Hurst. She was a member of Smith Chapel Free Will Baptist Church of Four Oaks, North Carolina. She was a dedicated and faithful member until moving to Philadelphia where she became a member of Corner Stone Baptist Church. She served faithfully at Corner Stone as a member of the usher board.
In addition to her husband Mamie was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a nephew that was just like a son, Otis Cooper (Hattie); six sisters, Flonnie Lynn, Betty Lackey and Mozella Williams all of Smithfield, NC, Marie Penny (George) of Smithfield, NC, Lottie Smith of Philadelphia, PA and Genet Faye Watson (Larry) of Clayton, NC; one brother, Hershel Williams, Jr. of Philadelphia, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends.
