Martin Duane Moore

Born in Smithfield, NC on July 2, 1911, Martin Duane Moore passed away
peacefully at his home on April 10, 2025.

He is survived by his son, Martin "Chad" Moore, and daughter, Ashley
Nicole Moore. He was a proud grandfather to three grandsons: Nathan
Ray McKeel, William Lane Wise, and Brandon Malik Moore.

Marty was married to the late Lori Ann Medlin Moore for 47 loving years.

A master painter for over 45 years, Marty was deeply respected and
cherished by the Johnston County community. He was known for having
painted nearly the entire town of Clayton, leaving his mark in more
ways than one.

A devoted man of faith, Marty loved his church and lived his life with
purpose and kindness. His greatest passion was fishing—he found peace
on the water, and in his spare time, he could often be found at the
coast, enjoying time on his boat.
