Mary Louise Ward Hinton

Mary Louise Ward Hinton was born to the late Pastor Nellie and Deacon Clyde Ward, Sr. on February 4th, 1964 in Harnett County, North Carolina. She transitioned from this earthly life on February 17th, 2020 at home.
Mary was educated in the Johnston County Public School System. She later studied Culinary Arts and was a much sought out cook for various events. She took great pleasure in childcare and the children at Shining Stars Daycare (Selma, NC) & Jo's Daycare (Raleigh, NC) were her heart. She was an entrepreneur, and sole proprietor, of Miracle Hands Designs.
Mary joined Johnson Grove Holiness Church at an early age and enjoyed singing in the Beginners Choir. The Lord led her mother to start a ministry in Selma, NC and she joined during the first service in the year 1985. She remained a member at Miracle Temple until her transition and served in the following capacities: Kitchen Committee President, a Leadership Support member, Home Mission field worker, member of the choir, and Usher. She also occasionally attended Faith Missionary Baptist Church with her husband.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers: John, Adam, & Clyde Jr., one sister: Bonita, and one son: Ronnie.
Mary leaves to cherish her memories: her loving and devoted husband Willie Hinton of the home, Four Daughters: Tiffany, Charlene, Natasha, and Rhonda all of Raleigh, NC. Four Grandsons in which two were extra special: Draydon NaQuan and David (D.J.); Four Granddaughters, and two Great Grandsons, Four brothers: Deacon James (Pastor Patricia) Ward of Newton Grove, NC, Joe Ward of Benson, NC, Elder David Ward of Smithfield, NC, and Jeffrey (Jean) Ward of Silver Springs, MD. Eight sisters: Pastor Patricia (Lewis) Barfield of Pine Level, NC, Evangelist Sarah Dunn of Clayton NC, Mother Sallie O'Neal, Mother Sherlene Smith, Evangelist Nellie Watson, and Minister Cassandra Williams all of Selma, NC, Apostle Wilma Hampton (Bishop Ray) of Zebulon, NC, and Nelliah Theet (Mikle) of Smithfield, NC. One aunt: Ailene Blocker (Willie) of Jacksonville, NC. An uncle, Waddell Martin of Jacksonville, NC. She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws, and friends. Five special friends: Ursula McKey, Josephine Seberry, Leon
