Ms. Millie Kirby, 88 of 65 Government Rd. Clayton NC died on February 14, 2010 at the Bryan Center in Clayton NC.
She was born to the late Frank Newsome and Keturah Warren.
She leaves to cherish her memories: four daughters; Thelma Peacock (Bobby) of Raleigh NC, Gloria Dublin (Roy) of Clayton NC, Keturah Foye of Raleigh and Edith Renee Lucas (Darryl) of Hawaii: four sons; William H. Kirby III (Sharon) of Clayton NC, Rudolph Kirby of Cary NC, Ronald Kirby (Sharon) of Clayton NC, and Danny Kirby (B'Treise) of Chicago IL: two sisters-in-law; Nettie Wiggs and Olivia Kirby, both of Wilson NC: twenty-eight grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great -great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday February 19, 2010 at 12PM at Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Clayton NC. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral, and there will be a viewing from three to eight on Thursday February 18, 2010 at Sanders Funeral Home in Smithfield NC. Internment will follow the funeral at Kirby Family Cemetery in Kenly NC
