Mr. Montego C. Shears, 41, passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2013. He was born on November 13, 1971 in Chapel Hill, NC to Oscar (Marilyn) Shears and Linda Dixon Shears.
A service to celebrate his life will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at 12:00 PM at Poplar Springs Christian Church, located at 6115 Old Stage Road in Raleigh, North Carolina 27603. The family will recieve relatives and friends prior to the service from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM.
He is survived by his wife Sherri, of the home; his children, Keyona Shears of Charlotte, NC, Shyindi Frazier of Knightdale, NC, Imani Shears of the home, Tashaun Clayton of Raleigh, NC, and Kionna Everett of Greensboro, NC; his grandmother, Sarah Dixon of Raleigh, NC; his parents, his brother, Eric Shears of Grenada, and his sister, Charlotte Shears of Durham, NC; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Burial will be at Maplewood Cemetery in Clayton, North Carolina. There will be no repast.
Sanders Funeral Home of Smithfield, NC is serving the family.
