Ms. Osie Mae Williams, 79, of died on Monday, April 14, 2014 at her home in Benson, NC

Osie Mae Williams,79, a devoted Mother, Grandmother, Great-
Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend departed this life on April 14, 2014
at 4:54 pm. She was born to the late Sam and Carrie Williams on August 26,
1934.She was preceded in death by four brothers, Ira, Claude, Sam Jr and Arlester
Williams. She graduated from Johnston County Training School in Smithfield, NC.
Upon graduation from high school, she moved to New York in search of a new
life. She attended nursing school and received her RN Degree. Osie spent her entire
nursing career of over 4o years at Kings County Memorial Hospital, Brooklyn,
NY. She enjoyed her career as a nurse and she rewarded herself with many
vacations including cruises to Aruba. After retiring, she returned home to be
surrounded by family and friends and joined Long Branch Disciples Church.
She leaves to cherish his life: three sons, Ernest L. Williams of Jamaica, NY;
Alexander K. Williams and Anthony K. Jones of the home, three grandchildren,
Nakia Williams of Selma, NC Malik Smith and Antwon Alford of Jamaica, NY,
eight great grandchildren and one of the home, Kamiya Jones, two brothers Roy
Williams of Benson, NC and William(Cheryl) Williams of Penfield, NY, four sisters,
Carrie(James) Brewington of Benson, NC, Delorse Williams of Benson, NC, Martha
Williams of Raleigh, NC and Irish W. Davis of Four Oaks, NC.; one sister in law,
Katie Williams Cole, four aunts, Janice Bryant of Washington, DC, Vernola (Elroy)
Patterson of Washington, DC, Donnie( WC) Ross of Flint, Michigan, three uncles,
James Williams of Newark, NJ, Alfred ( Helen)Bryant of Four Oaks, NC, Brazley
Cole of Raleigh, NC and a special friend, Nellie Green of Smithfield, NC
