Preston Boylan

Mr. Preston Boylan 78, of 1481 Barbour Rd, Smithfield, passed away Monday, August 19, 2013. Mr. Preston Boylan was born on July 15, 1935 to the late Ms. Susie Webb Boylan and Mr. Eunice Boylan.

Mr. Boylan attended the Johnston County public school system, and was later employed by the city of Smithfield for over 40 years. He attended Union Hill AME Church at an early age. Preston resided in Smithfield, NC for much of his life. He was a resident at Barbour Court for over six years, until he departed this life.

Preston Boylan was preceded in death by his parents, Susie Webb Boylan, his father Eunice Boylan, his brothers, Gilber Boylan, Steve Boylan, and Dwight Boylan, and sisters Lindsey Boylan, and Billie Ann Douglas.

Preston leaves to cherish his memories one daughter, Deborah Boylan of Baltimore, Maryland; two brothers, Charles Boylan of Smithfield, North Carolina, Ray Boylan of Clayton, NC; one sister, Bertha May Boylan of Kenly, North Carolina; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews,
other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday, August 26, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Union Hill AME Church in Wilson Mills, NC. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 2:00 -3:00 pm.
