On Thursday, June 25th, God sent his angels to visit Randy, and early that morning they escorted him to his new heavenly home.
Randy was born June 6, 1959, in Duplin County, North Carolina, to the late John Daniel and Mary Lee Green. Randy lived in Apex for many years, until his family moved to Harnett County and then settled in Johnson County. He attended several schools including Harnett Central High. He was the 2nd child of 8 children born in his family.
Randy was a loving person and was always willing to help family and friends. He never met a stranger and once he got to know you, he would love to sit and talk. Randy loved his family very much. He never had any children, but if you had seen him with some of his nieces and nephews and how he would fuss at them, give advice to them and help them thru some situations you would have thought he had children. In his younger years, Randy loved to attend church, and every Sunday he had someone to pick him up and often was in church all day. Even in the last couple of years he still talked about his love for the Lord.
His memory will be cherished with much love by his sister Brenda and her 8 children; his brothers â Johnnie (Janie) and their daughter; Luther (Louise) and their 4 children; Stanley and his 3 children. One of his brothers Reginald preceded him death. Randy's memory will also be cherished by his many family members and friends not mentioned.
