Rochell Catherine Godwin Howell

Mrs. Rochell Godwin Howell was born on April 28, 1943 to the late Carrie Mae McKinnon Godwin and Dock Godwin, Sr. She departed this earthly life at Smithfield Manor on May 29, 2019. Her husband, Leonard Howell predeceased her in July 2013.
She attended Johnston County Schools. She retired from ASC Signal Corporation. After retirement, she worked in the kitchen for a non-profit and later became a caregiver for one of the owners. She had also been the Head Mother of the Mother's Board of Holy Temple Church of God of Selma, Inc.
She leaves to cherish her memory: 1 daughter: Emma Annette Howell of Durham, NC; 5 sons: Leonard Gregory Howell (Linda) of Princeton, NC; Jeffrey Jerome Howell, Sr. of Selma, NC; Carlton Keith Howell (Elmira) of Selma, NC; Godfrey Howell (Martina) of Selma, NC; and Quentin Dion Howell of Selma, NC; 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren. She also leaves 3 brothers and 2 sisters: Dock Godwin, Jr., James Bernard Godwin, Alvin Jerome Godwin, Doretha Mae Godwin, and
