Sandra Camille Lowe

Sandra Camille Lowe was born in Brooklyn, New York on March 20, 1962 to the late James C Lowe, Sr. and Clara B Lowe. She was preceded in death by one sister, Sharon Smith, and one brother, James C Lowe Jr.
Sandra was a member of Calvary UFW Baptist Church, Brooklyn New York under the leadership of Apostle Clenso Allen. She relocated to Smithfield, NC and became a member of Interstate Ministries under the leadership of Bishop Terrance Jenkins.
Sandra attended Cooley High School in Detroit Michigan and later completed her education upon returning to New York.
Sandra was employed with the New York City Post Office and retired from the New York City Police Department after 31 years of service. After retirement, Sandra relocated to North Carolina.
Sandra served on the Executive Board of the Guardian Association of the New York Police Department and other organizations within the NYPD for several years. She lived each day doing the things she loved to do. She enjoyed singing, dancing and traveling and never allowed her illness to hinder her. She always said, "I may be a little slow, but I'm going."
Sandra leaves to cherish her memories: stepmother, Ernestine Raiford Lowe of Smithfield, NC; children, Lisa S Lowe of Smithfield, NC and Anthony D Lowe of Durham, NC; two sisters, Pamela Toyer of Birmingham, AL and Jacqueline D Lowe of Brooklyn, NY; three stepbrothers, Billy S Lassiter, Jr. (Cynthia) of Smithfield, NC, Ernest L Lassiter (Dorothy) of Willow Springs, NC, and Christopher P Lassiter (Cynthia) of Lithonia, Ga; five grandchildren, Deionte D Lowe, Jamie D Myers, Quentin M Lowe, Kawon S Grimes, and Jocelyn Brown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
