Sheila Re'Nee Pettiway

Sheila Pettiway, 47, of 1421 Lizzie Mill Road in Selma, North Carolina passed away on Thursday, August 22, 2013. Sheila was born on May 25, 1966 to Josephine Arphina Pettiway in Johnston County, North Carolina.

Sheila graduated from Smithfield Selma Senior High School in 1985. Soon after that, she went straight to work. Sheila was dedicated and devoted to her children and everybody whom she loved.

She leaves behind two sons, Jamel Pettiway and Jeremiah Pettiway of the home; and one daughter, Miyisha Pettiway of the home in Selma, NC.

Sheila also leaves behind, her mother, Joesphine Pettiway of Selma, NC; seven sisters, Annetta Pettiway of Selma, NC, Helen Pettiway of Wilson Mills, NC, Vanessa (Andrea) Heggie of Selma, NC, Kimberly (John) Tucker of Kenly, NC, Anita (Anthony) Boylan of Selma, NC, Tabitha (Lucas) Smith of Selma, NC, Helen L. Grady of Baltimore, MD; and five brothers Bartholomew (Edna) McKay of Pennsylvania, PA, Larry (Stephanie) Pettiway of Charlotte, NC, Michael Pettiway of Selma, NC, Charles Pettiway of Selma, NC, and Willie J. Curtis (Deborah) of Baltimore, MD, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at The Church of God of Prophecy in Selma, North Carolina at 1:00 pm. A viewing will be held one hour prior to funeral services from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm.
