Mrs. Swanie Sanders,85,of 309 N. Hall St, Benson NC passed away on Friday, May26, 2011 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh NC.
She leaves to cherish her memories; seven children, Shirley Archibald (Eli-deceased), Marie Lathon (James), Mattie Hall (Arthur-deceased), Ora Mae Sanders (Thomas Alexander-deceased), Lois Bass, Tommie D. Sanders (Jean), and Larry Lee Sanders (Sheila); one sister, Lizzie Gillis, one son-in-law, two daughters-in-law, 43 grandchildren, 69 great-grandchildren, and 45 great-great grandchildren, one special friend, Ms.Ada Jackson, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday MAy 31, 2011 at Sanders Grove Church in Smithfield NC. There will be a wake from 12PM to 1PM and the Funeral will begin at 1PM.
