Mr. Thomas Chappell, 88, of Clayton, NC died on Monday, June 30, 2014 at Barbour Court in Smithfield, NC.

Heaven has opened up the doors for yet another great man. You will be missed but never forgotten. Leaving behind so many memories of love, happiness, good times, bad times and forgiveness. But know that on your journey you are not alone, we are with you every step of the way. Three granddaughters Sherrie Williams, Terrie Chappell and Bridgette Brown, 2 great-granddaughters Cortaric Lucas, Brittany Chappell, four grandsons: Leon Chappell, Scottie Smith, William Smith, Michael Smith; one son Thomas Chappell, Jr. a loving wife Eartha Chappell and four great grandson: Nazir Moore, Ayden Moore, Certary Lucas, Certavius Thomas Lucas.

But this is not goodbye this means see you later we will always love you.
