TyAsia Janay Scarboro passed away on January 7th, 2020 in Raleigh NC.
TyAsia was born on April 14, 2003, at Betsy Johnson Memorial Hospital to Tychelle Amerson Payden and Reginald Scarboro. TyAsia attended Thurgood Marshall Academy in Washington DC in her early high school career and then later attended Sanderson High School in Raleigh North Carolina.
TyAsia will be remembered for her beautiful smile, great sense of humor, and confidence. She enjoyed doing makeup and hair and aspired to start a career as a hairstylist after graduating high school.
TyAsia is survived by her parents Tychelle Amerson Payden and Reginald Scarboro; her sisters, Nashita Amerson, RehShawnee Scarboro, April Amerson, TaShara Scarboro; and brother Reginald Scarboro Jr; maternal grandparents Lauretta Amerson Williams and Walter Alford (deceased); maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbert Scarboro; two maternal aunts Tangela Ray (Antwuan), and Takiyah Alford (Elgin); two paternal uncles Wilbur Scarboro Jr. (Tameka) and Melvin Scarboro, one paternal aunt, Kristy Scarboro-Padgett (Ronnie); two nieces, and one nephew; and numerous cousins and friends.
TyAsia will be greatly missed by everyone that had the privilege of knowing her. The family would like to thank everyone for their support and continued prayers.
