Mr. Willard Gaston Howard,73, of 305 East Railroad St. Selma NC passed away on Monday May 16, 2011 at The Trinity Hospice House in Raleigh NC.
He leaves to cherish his memories; his wife, Daisy Mae; his children, Jacqueline Howard, of Smithfield NC, Willard G. Howard Jr., of the home, his mother, Margie Howard, of Raleigh NC, in addition, a son, Burt Thomas Lucas, of Raleigh NC, 5 brothers; Charles Howard, of New Britain, CT, Leon Howard, of Wendell NC, Johnny Howard (Dianne) of Mount holly, NJ, David Howard (Patricia), of Pinehurst, NC, and Jan Howard (Portia), of Knightdale, NC,, one sister; Pearl Howard, of Bronx, NY, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, one aunt; Mary Jenkins, of Selma NC, three uncles; Otis Burgess, of Smithfield NC, Johnny Burgess, of Portsmouth, VA, and Bishop Joshua Burgess, of Raleigh ,NC, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday May 22, 2011 at 2PM at Interstate Ministries in Clayton NC.
